The King Is Dead

“Master over Gaia,
Vanquisher of the Primordials,
The Prime Mover of life.

Father of Gods and of man,
Nothing of equivalence can ever be relinquished to Him
For bestowing us with our existence.
And, No law of God or man alike can undo his own,
For his Bolt smites those who would deny his graces.

Upon his throne in Olympus,
Does His ever-blessing gaze look down upon us.
To Him, we owe our sacrifices.
For Him, we pray to above all else.
Through His love, we live.
By His Will, we die.

Above all the Gods of the Pantheon, He stands,
The Righteous,
The All-Knowing,
The King in the Sky;
Pater Zeus ,
The one True Immortal Ruler.”
— passage from The Allfather Exemplums, Book I.
